Large independent insurance broker is currently seeking a development Executive, working from a home base, to attract new business paying premiums between £5k - £150k.

Large independent insurance broker is currently seeking a Commercial Development Executive to work from a home base. You will be responsible for the development of new business accounts, undertaking visits to clients' premises to discuss their insurance requirements. You will works in conjunction with internal brokers, making full market submissions and writing new business reports for presentation to clients. The new business leads are predominately provided via the clients' blue chip financial clients.

Applicants applying for this vacancy must have relevant account executive experience within the commercial insurance sector. You must have proven sales record in converting leads and be conversant developing business at a senior corporate level. Typically the business being targeted ranges from £5k to £150k premium so a proven track record with this level of business is essential. Candidates either ACII qualified or working towards that standard or equivalent are sought. You will have problem solving/conceptual agility and be able to build confidence and trust with clients and colleagues alike.
